On Friday 23 June we had two very special guests at Lukestone Care Home who managed to charm the hearts of everyone they came across.
On ‘Take Your Dog to Work Day’ we brought in Mia, a 3-year-old, half Chihuahua and Jack Russell, in the morning. Mia kindly gave free hugs and warm cuddles to all our residents. She visited everyone in their rooms, however she loved getting out in the garden to enjoy herself in the sun!
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, we had Levi, a Jack Russell terrier, visit our Home to have fun with everyone in our main lounge. Levi was given lots of love and attention as well.
Our residents were excited and happy to see these pups create a lively atmosphere in our Home – great fun!
