Last week at Lukestone Care Home we had a lovely time celebrating Japan as we set sail on the last leg of our virtual mini cruise to the land of cherry blossom trees, samurais and geishas.
Japan is such an interesting and beautiful country. We started by decorating our Home and inviting Rob T to play and sing for us while our lovely geishas danced for our residents.
Our ladies and gents enjoyed our tasting trolley with Japanese foods like sushi, tempura, vegetables and other tasty goodies.
We also enjoyed a lovely ‘Paint and Sip’ session when our residents painted cherry blossoms and tasted delicious drinks and Japanese sweets.
To finish, we relaxed by listening to Japanese music and painting Japanese mini umbrellas.
What a lovely week in Japan!
