We all celebrated ‘International Talk Like a Pirate Day’ on Tuesday 19 September here at Lukestone Care Home.
We had fun dressing up and coming up with jokes about pirates and it was a good opportunity to enjoy some fancy dress and each other’s company.
In the morning we dressed up and in the afternoon our residents enjoyed engaging with our Recreation and Well-Being Coordinators Mihaela and Niamh, with drawing and colouring pirates on the menu!
We loved looking at all the drawings, with lots of smiles and laughter all around.
What a fantastic day of pirate fun!
