On Friday 8 September, we came together at Lukestone Care Home to celebrate International Day.
It was such of explosion of colour, taste and customs as our staff represented and celebrated their countries including England, Welsh, Ireland, Scotland, Nepal, India, Philippines, Nigeria, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria – wearing outfits to represent their specific nations and cooking some delicious traditional meals.
Our talented members of staff also put on a show, singing and dancing for our residents, which went down a treat.
It was such an amazing event for celebrating diversity and we all enjoyed coming together to have fun!
