On Monday 27 February, we brought out our maracas and tambourines at Lukestone Care Home and played some classics from Elvis to ABBA to entertain our residents.
When we danced and played the songs louder, it energised all our residents in the room. An instrument was handed to each of our residents and we enjoyed a fun party as we danced and sang our hearts out in each other’s company.
Adrian and Marlene danced energetically with our Activity Team member Linda – our best dancers of the day! Betty and Linda, our other Activity Champion, gave a little dance as they shook on their maracas and tambourines. Meanwhile Clara loved her mini tambourine and could not bare to part with it, even after the end of the session!
