On Friday 31 March and Monday 3 April our residents got busy making bonnets for Easter here at Lukestone Care Home.
Our residents were amazed by all the colourful decorations we brought out on our activity trolley.
Ann loved the orange pom poms, so Linda stuck one on her bonnet. We put another pom pom in blue on a green bonnet which was gifted to Betty.
Similarly, we put on floral garlands as we stuck bows, eggs and chicks on to our bonnets with the help of our residents.
A bloom of bright colours in the lounge lifted everyone’s mood and our bonnets easily became the highlight of the day when they were displayed on our residents’ and staff team’s heads!
