On Tuesday 14 June, we enjoyed a sunny day with our residents at Lukestone Care Home in our garden for some hand painting.
We asked each resident involved to get their hand painted and then stamp their imprint onto a piece of paper. Around their hand we helped them write their interests and things they love.
This was a great activity as it allowed us to get to know our residents even better and our ladies and gents also enjoyed taking more about their hobbies and things they enjoy.
Using all the paintings, we put up a display and made an ‘All About Me’ board, so anyone coming in can get to know our residents better.
On top of this we did some finger painting and made pictures of trees and flowers. Everyone really enjoyed this activity and it was lovely to be outside enjoying the lovely weather!
