On Sunday 19 June we enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day at Lukestone Care Home and made sure it was a day packed with lots of fun activities for our lovely fathers.
In the morning, our residents enjoyed a visit from singer Rick Stills who came in to play some classic old tunes and lots of our favourites! He had all our residents dancing and singing along!
Later on in the day, we took our dads for a nice lunch in our dining room and in the afternoon, we set up a bar in our garden for them to enjoy a ‘pub date’ and celebrate Father’s Day with some cold pints of beer.
Our residents enjoyed visits all day from their children, which made the day really special.
