Pom-poms, glue and glitter!
On Thursday 15 September we enjoyed some fun and messy arts and crafts with our residents at Lukestone Care Home.
Reginald absolutely loved the art he had made with our Recreation and Wellbeing Champion Wiki. He said she could be an artist with the way she handled her glitter!
Ellen held her fingers out as we tried to make the strings go around them. She was incredibly patient while making pom-poms. Our residents loved the brightly coloured pom-poms and cheered us on with it. Great fun!
Games and puzzles
On Saturday we brought out our board games to play with everyone.
Brian and David enjoyed playing a serious game of Ludo with Linda; Brian easily won the game and his victory pose was all smiles!
Our ladies were very interested in jigsaw puzzles and especially loved one with a sheep dog image. They discussed their next move and how to best figure out how the puzzle works. It was a lovely moment seeing them so engaged with this activity and supporting each other to complete the picture.
