On Monday 13 February, we made gift bags with red and colourful hearts to spread the love of Valentine’s Day to all our wonderful residents at Lukestone Care Home.
We supported our residents to make the gift bags which would later be filled with little heart chocolates and sealed. After gluing the papers and hearts together we encouraged our residents to sign the goody bags they made with their names or initials. Everyone who engaged in the activity was delighted with how they turned out – there was a huge collection of gift bags at the end!
On Valentine’s Day, these bags were gifted by our Activity Champions to all our residents and staff, made from the effort of their hard work and participation.
Everyone enjoyed the delicious treats and celebrating the special occasion.
