On Friday 17 March we wore green shirts and painted clover leaves on wooden keepsake boxes with our residents in celebration of St Patrick’s Day here at Lukestone Care Home.
Mihaela, our Team Lead, painted a leprechaun on a big canvas which fascinated our resident Bob. Later, he tried his best to mimic her work, which made Mihaela extremely proud and he was very happy to receive praise from everyone.
In the afternoon, we took our trolley full of beer around from our lounge to rooms on each of our floors. Many of our residents got to enjoy a chilled beer of their choosing and took fun photos with us.
