On Tuesday 9 August we enjoyed a Punch and Judy show here at Lukestone Care Home. It was a wonderful day full of memories and reminiscing for our residents as it reminded them of their younger years spent at the beach with their families where they would enjoy shows just like this.
We also invited relatives and staff families to come and join us on this stroll down memory lane; they could not stop laughing as the show progressed and they enjoyed watching the storylines for all the different characters in the puppet show.
Later in the show we also enjoyed some magic tricks which were really entertaining! Many residents found themselves asking and trying to figure out how this magic was happening.
This was also such a great experience for those of us who have never seen a Punch and Judy show before and we are all counting on having them come in again soon!
