On Friday 19 May we took advantage of the perfect weather at Lukestone Care Home and planted herbs out in our raised garden bed.
Ann and Marlene joined in with our team for this activity; while Marlene was comfortably observing us shovelling and laying the compost bed, Ann helped us move the dirt. She assisted Linda in opening the compost bags and even clearing up the compartment to make more room for the herbs.
The pair transplanted the herbs out of their containers into the garden bed.
Ann was especially thrilled to be growing onions and seeing their green leaves.
