On Sunday 20 August staff and residents at Lukestone Care Home welcomed a group of seven musicians called Invicta Band.
Alan, one of our beloved residents’ son Ian, volunteered to come and entertain our residents and the group gave a magnificent performance in the main lounge where everyone gathered to listen. Most of our residents were very impressed and were clapping and tapping along to the songs.
Betty was knitting and when asked about their performance, she said they were lovely. Albert and Brian were particularly excited about the songs as they cheered louder than everyone else. Marlene couldn’t help but dance as they played their ukuleles and banjos.
