Our residents at Lukestone Care Home celebrated a very happy Valentine’s Day on Monday 14 February.
In the morning, we covered our tables with pretty heart print table cloths and vases of roses, and our residents loved helping to decorate Paula’s Pantry and our main lounge.
During afternoon we had our main party in the lounge, where everyone came together to decorate the biscuits we had made in the morning.
In Paula’s Pantry we hosted a small tea party with music and snacks. We also had some fun Valentines-themed Bingo sheets to play, with pictures instead of numbers to mark off – everything from roses and flowers to lipsticks and love bugs, great fun!
We gave each of our lovely residents a homemade gift bag from all the staff at Lukestone, which included chocolates, a knitted heart and a little note.
Such a fun and eventful Valentine’s Day which we all really enjoyed.
