On Sunday 19 March, we celebrated Mother’s Day at Lukestone Care Home with a morning Namaste session with our ladies, and an afternoon tea with cupcakes.
Gillian was very pleased with the hand care she received from Mihaela, our Activities Team Lead, as she could relax and enjoy the soothing treatment; she said she had a lovely time and expressed her gratitude at the end of the session. Similarly, other ladies also received a Namaste experience throughout our Home.
Later, we had an afternoon ladies tea time in our dining room, beautifully set up by Mihaela and Linda with the help of our Kitchen staff. As Marlene saw the cupcakes, she excitedly took a seat. When tea was served she commented that it was lovely and could not get enough of it! Meanwhile, Ann enjoyed her cupcakes with a lovely hot cup of coffee.
