We had a busy week at Lukestone Care Home last week, with lots for our residents to enjoy.
A particular favourite activity for our ladies and gents was listening to Doris Day, Johny Cash and Jim Reeves on vinyl from our lovely record player.
When Charles heard the first tune, he said “This is real music!”. This feedback immediately confirmed to Recreation and Well-Being Champion Ewa that it was going to prove popular! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and reminiscing with the classic tunes.
They’ve also been enjoying playing darts and Connect 4 at the Home – perfect pastimes for these chilly winter days.
