On Thursday 28 July our lovely resident Brian turned 87 years young at Lukestone Care Home!
We celebrated Brian’s special day with good wishes from all our staff and our Assistant Chef Bhim made him a delicious birthday cake. This beautifully decorated treat was placed on the Activities trolley and taken to his room where we entered singing ‘Happy birthday‘ – he was so surprised!
He teared up when he read the top of the cake – ‘Happy birthday Brian. We love you‘. Then he gave us big welcoming hugs.
We cut the cake together and he said he would like to share it with all our other residents.
