On Sunday 28 May our residents painted cherry blossoms pictures using a special cotton bud technique at Lukestone Care Home.
Mihaela, our Activities Team Lead, suggested we use big cotton buds which we prepared for our residents before the activity.
We used large sticks and wrapped them thinly with cotton balls. These were perfect for our ladies and gents to use as they gave a better grip for them to paint.
Our residents, including Leonard and Gillian, merrily painted their cherry blossoms pink; the results looked beautiful.
