At Lukestone Care Home, we marked both the opening and closing ceremonies of Wimbledon 2025 in style – and a touch of classic British charm!
To celebrate the occasion, our team prepared a refreshing round of non-alcoholic Pimm’s, made with fresh ingredients and served alongside traditional strawberries with cream or ice cream from a cheerful drinks trolley. The vibrant display added a special touch, bringing the spirit of Wimbledon right into our Home.
Residents gathered to enjoy their drinks and treats while watching the live matches on television, soaking up the excitement of the tournament. It was a lovely way to enjoy the atmosphere together and share in the tradition of this iconic summer event.
