Our dear Lukestone Care Home residents celebrated St Patrick’s Day in the company of some wonderful Irish dancers and lively Irish music.
Our ladies and gents tapped their feet and clapped their hands on the beat of the Irish tunes and encouraged the youngsters who had everyone’s attention – they were brilliant and we loved their performance.
We also enjoyed decorations, colouring four leaf clovers and delicious cupcakes made by our lovely Chef Bhim. Our residents, team members and families wore their celebratory green hats and little Avery, grandson of our lovely resident Brian, enjoyed himself with the hats on, running around our lounge which our residents loved. He really brought a smile to everyone’s faces.
To end the day, everybody tucked into a St Patrick’s tea party with Guinness and blackcurrant and cupcakes. Perfect!
