Here at Lukestone Care Home we celebrated a Food Hygiene Rating presentation and service award ceremony on Monday 10 March.
We are delighted that our kitchen was recently awarded a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating after the Environment Health Inspector was very happy with the hard work our kitchen team had put into their hygiene, cleanliness, labelling of dates and all other inspection points. Huge congratulation to Bhim our Head Chef and her whole kitchen team – Sabina, Sisham, Rupa, Kabita, Sruthi and Srijana – for this excellent achievement.
We also held a ceremony to congratulate our long service team members:
Sreejesh, Healthcare Assistant (nights) – 5 years at Nellsar
Elisavet, Housekeeping – 5 years at Nellsar
Jharna, Activity Lead – 5 years at Nellsar
Particular mention goes to our Healthcare Assistant Bina who received a special Employee of the Year Award for her hard work and dedication – congratulations Bina!
Our Operations and Compliance Manager Alison Ruddock and Home Manager Russell Menoza were delighted to present certificates, along with beautiful bouquets of flowers. A delicious buffet and drinks were served to celebrate and share our teams’ successes, and it was wonderful to see everyone joining in for the special occasion.
Congratulations to all our fantastic team members for their commitment and passion in caring for our Lukestone residents.
