On Monday 24 October we had a refreshing group game of balloon volleyball to liven the spirits of our residents at Lukestone Care Home.
As soon as we started the game, our ladies and gents had big smiles and were bursting with laughter as they made Linda run all over the lounge after the balloon!
Nora and David were the most enthusiastic about the match. They were striking the balloon with their hands and then with their legs. When the red balloon floated towards their direction, they got excited to have the chance to get a proper hit. Whatever method got the balloon floating up was a win for the group.
Having the seats close to each other led to a friendly competition for all the residents participating.
Great fun all round!
