Garden fun
During the recent spell of warmer weather, we’ve enjoyed taking our Lukestone Care Home residents outside for activities, including tennis, ball games and other ‘sports day’ type fun.
Our residents, particularly Brian, really enjoyed the fresh air and having their tea outside.
We can’t wait for more lovely sunshine so we can enjoy more time in our garden!
Weekly baking
On Sunday 2 April we enjoyed our weekly baking activity, which is always popular.
We used our mini cupcake machine and made buttercream icing for decoration.
Betty and Ann particularly enjoyed helping and were very proud of their mini cupcake creations. They definitely had the most fun trying their cakes!
