We were very pleased to have a visit recently from a lovely group of young people from the National Citizen Service (NCS) here at Lukestone Care Home.
NCS is a programme open to all teenagers aged 15-17 to discover who they are and what they can do. The scheme gives them a chance to try all sorts of new experiences, develop skills and meet new people.
The group sang and entertained our residents at Lukestone. They played indoor and outdoor games – and as you can see, our residents joined in and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the young people during their visit.
Many thanks to the group for bringing such fun and spirit with them; we wish them the best with their ongoing projects and activities.
