Our residents at Lukestone Care Home have enjoyed some fantastic entertainers recently, with some wonderful music filling our lounge!
Tickled Pink Productions
We welcomed two performers from Tickled Pink Productions who put on an amazing ‘World Cruise‘ themed show, complete with costume changes, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Country and Western
On Monday 25 October we hosted a Country and Western themed afternoon, when our residents and staff joined in the dancing and singing whilst wearing their cowboy hats – we even had a horse join in the fun!
Remembrance
Our Remembrance Day celebrations featured singer Jasmine who came to perform wartime songs for our residents, who loved waving their Union Jacks and singing and dancing to the music.
Our Activities Team also worked hard on making a poppy dress display and one of our volunteers crocheted the beautiful poppies – a beautiful tribute to those we’ve lost in wartime.
