On Sunday 10 April we continued with our weekly cooking session here at Lukestone Care Home and made tomato soup – as requested by Betty!
This was such a quick and easy recipe which our residents really enjoyed; we had Ann on tomato chopping duty, while Betty took care of the carrots and onions.
We also had some help from Carol who peeled the garlic, helped mix the soup and checked if it was salty enough.
These residents enjoyed the soup they had made during supper, and we had great reviews from other residents too!
