We were excited last week to take a group of our residents from Lukestone Care Home on an outing to Millbrook Garden Centre in Gravesend, to visit their in-house butterfly experience.
The Millbrook Butterfly Experience showcased butterflies and exotic plants from all over the world. It allowed us to get up close and discover amazing facts about the life-cycle and behaviour of the beautiful butterflies on show, experiencing them free-flying all around.
It was a wonderful outing and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience and talking about it over tea and cake in the cafe afterwards.
