A group of our residents from Lukestone Care Home went on an outing to Herne Bay on Thursday 27 June, to enjoy some fresh coastal air.
They walked along the pier and browsed in the little shops. It was fun seeing the art and sculptures on the sea front and taking in the view.
It was a nice day, but a little breezy, so they kept wrapped up and stopped for coffees and hot chocolates!
And what seaside trip would be complete without fish and chips for lunch?! They really enjoyed the cafe food.
Everyone loved the trip, the change of scenery and being together for the day.
