On Saturday 24 September we made a tie dye banner backdrop with our residents for our upcoming Macmillan Coffee Morning which we will be hosting this Friday at our Home.
We prepared an old bed sheet for the activity by twisting it and securing it with rubber bands.
When we started the activity, some of our residents were confused about the small bundles of cloth in the bucket, however after we explained it was a bed sheet wrapped to be dyed they excitedly put on the gloves and poured different shade of green and blue with gusto!
They had so much fun turning and tossing the sheet while emptying the bottles of dye. After an entire day of drying, the sheet looked beautiful when unwrapped. We can’t wait to display it at our coffee morning!
