What a fascinating trip to India we had this week for our Lukestone Care Home residents and staff.
We set the mood with relaxing Indian music and a beautiful scent wafting from oil diffusers all around our lounge.
Our Captain Emanuel announced our destination and warmly welcomed our lovely residents on board. He consulted our route thoroughly with our Cruising Guide Shreejesh to avoid meeting with any pirates!
Unfortunately, Pirate Darren appeared on our way, who tried to disturb the peace on our ship; however, brave Captain Emanuel and sailors quickly prevented the danger and captured him!
While sailing, our guests could enjoy listening to facts about India and watch beautiful Indian classical dance. Our Namaste Care Specialists offered relaxing massages too.
Our passengers had plenty of Rupees to spend to taste various Indian dishes such as vegetable Biryani, chicken samosas and chicken in other types of sauces with Naan bread prepared by our Chefs Mandy and Preethi.
At the end of the Cruise, our ladies and gents enjoyed watching a Pirate Show, which was great fun!
It was a day full of new exciting experiences for our lovely residents and members of staff.
