Our dear Lukestone Care Home residents John and Katherine went out for a delightful musical concert and picnic on Saturday 5 July with two other residents from our sister Home, Lulworth House.
They reached St Augustine School around 3pm, collected their picnic box and took their seats to enjoy a varieties of live music being played by a small orchestra. The duo thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks, and loved talking about the music and different instruments being played.
They had Union Jack hats, head bands and flags to wave and everyone in the audience was singing, clapping hands and tapping their feet.
Both John and Katherine said they’d had such a wonderful experience and it had been a pleasure to meet other residents and colleagues from Lulworth.
