Our residents at Lukestone Care Home have had an enjoyable and activity-filled time recently, full of creativity and fun. Our ladies and gents spent time aqua painting – a wonderfully relaxing activity which uses just water to bring blank pages to life, slowly revealing colourful images of animals and birds. It was lovely to see their concentration and smiles as each picture appeared like magic on the page.
We’ve also had fun with some lively rounds of bingo, which is a firm favourite in our Home. The room was filled with anticipation as numbers were called, with plenty of excitement over winning lines and the race for a full house.
As December begins, we’ve been embracing the festive spirit. Our residents have been busy decorating their Christmas cards and writing warm messages inside them. And we celebrated the birthday of one of our lovely ladies. Surrounded by friends, team members and plenty of smiles, she enjoyed a special moment with a beautiful birthday cake and heartfelt good wishes from everyone.
