Our Lukestone Care Home residents had a wonderful visit from talented harpist Carys on Friday 30 May.
Their faces lit up when she stared playing her magnificent harp and they were nodding their heads from side to side and tapping their feet. The music she played was so soothing that some of our ladies and gents enjoyed simply closing their eyes to feel the music and relax.
Everyone at our Home was amazed to see such a beautiful harp and were intrigued to touch it gently and feel what it was like to play the strings, with Carys’s kind support.
What a wonderful experience for us all. We had such positive feedback from our family members about the unique visit. It was an extra special Friday afternoon – thank you Carys.
