Here at Lukestone Care Home, we had fun celebrating International Dance Day on Tuesday 29 April in our lounge together.
All our team members with different nationalities showed us a dance from their country, which was really special; we had dances from Romania, Greece, Nigeria, Nepal, India and some English dances too. It was fantastic with everyone participating to entertain our residents.
Some of our family members, along with our lovely residents, joined in for the dancing too and we ended the celebration with a group dance which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Our Home was filled with chatter, laughing and great dance moves. Such a wonderfully uplifting day.
