On Sunday 17 July, our residents and staff at Lukestone Care Home enjoyed celebrating National Ice-cream Day.
For the event, we attempted to make our own ice-cream which proved rather difficult, even with an ice-cream maker!
After a couple bumps along the way with our ice-cream machine, we took a tub of ice cream around and let our ladies and gents choose their ice-cream cone, syrups and other toppings!
Everyone loved decorating their own ice-cream and we enjoyed seeing such happy faces! …with some residents going back for further helpings! Yummy!
