On Tuesday 10 September we hosted a ‘retro’ fancy dress party at Lukestone Care Home.
We decorated our lounge and got all ‘groovy’ with some fantastic 50s, 60s and 70s music performed by an entertainer who got us all into the retro spirit, with some great dancing from residents!
The songs at the party brought back lots of memories for our residents and the costumes worn by our staff certainly generated some comments for residents reminiscing about the era. Our younger visitors enjoyed the music too and it was lovely to see everyone having such a good time together.
Thank you too to our Chefs who provided a wonderful buffet spread.
