Our lovely Lukestone Care Home residents enjoyed Easter with their loved ones and had fun with all our celebrations.
They painted Easter eggs, decorated Easter bonnets, helped with our decorations and made a beautiful Easter tree. They also had fun Easter egg hunting with our team members and loved ones, followed by some relaxing time in the garden eating their chocolates.
Linda is one of our residents at Lukestone and her lovely husband Dave dressed up as the Easter Bunny and gave out Easter chocolates to everyone. Our residents loved this, seeing the hopping bunny doing movements and trying to eat carrots!
We welcomed family members for a delicious dinner on Easter Sunday, and Father John and Kathia from our local church visited our residents and gave them blessings. A number of our residents also joined in for prayers with them.
What a super week we had, with so many happy faces!
