To celebrate Easter, we got ‘crafty’ with our residents and decorated Easter bonnets together here at Lukestone Care Home.
We had lots of fantastic arts supplies to ensure they were ‘bonny and bright’, including eggs, chicks, Easter stickers and coloured ribbon. Our residents enjoyed wearing their completed hats with pride!
As part of the Easter weekend we also held a special afternoon tea. Our residents enjoyed the experience inside and outside in our garden and we used our lovely china teapots and tea cups for a vintage appeal.
Our ladies and gents enjoyed cakes and biscuits with their tea – a lovely way to spend time together at Easter.
