Christmas storytelling and carols
Our residents at Lukestone Care Home recently enjoyed listening to the Christmas story and carols sung by a lovely group of children from a local school. Some of our residents sang along while others listened with excitement.
Families and friends accompanied our residents which made the atmosphere even merrier! Everyone enjoyed the fantastic array of snacks and drinks on offer and they were very happy enjoying some quality time with their loved ones.
Christmas Day celebrations
Our residents had a fabulous festive time with their loved ones on Christmas Day at Lukestone; they had a delicious Christmas dinner with friends and family while listening to some lovely Christmas music, followed by a raffle.
It warmed our hearts to see everyone so happy and enjoying time their time with their closest friends ands family.
And it wouldn’t have been Christmas without a visit from Father Christmas himself, who kindly gave individual gifts to all our residents. Some of our ladies and gentlemen were very excited to see Santa and the gifts!
