Here at Lukestone Care Home we enjoy celebrating all different cultures, and last week we hosted an Indian Day.
In the morning, our residents participated in gentle exercises to soothing Indian music.
For lunch, our Catering Team served authentic Indian curry which our residents found very tasty and spicy.
In the afternoon, one of our lovely Senior Healthcare Assistants put on an amazing Indian dance show for everyone to watch, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Our ladies and gents then relaxed and watched a lively Indian Bollywood film; everyone clapped and cheered along to the dancing and music.
We wonder what culture we will celebrate next…
