On Sunday 17 August, we had the pleasure of celebrating Peter’s 77th birthday at Lukestone Care Home. Peter began his special day with warm birthday wishes from our team, and his room was decorated just as he requested – with a cheerful birthday banner and a balloon placed by his television so he could enjoy the view.
In the afternoon, some of our team members and a few of our residents gathered in Peter’s room to present him with a cake and a birthday card, lovingly signed by his fellow residents. Everyone joined together to sing ‘Happy birthday‘, and Peter was delighted, thanking everyone for making his day feel so special.
Later on, his birthday cake was kindly shared with his friends at our Home, spreading the celebration even further.
