Our dear residents at Lukestone Care Home were delighted by a beautiful singing performance from Kevin Walsh on Remembrance Day. Our Home was filled with dancing, clapping, cheering and plenty of smiles as everyone sang along and reminisced about days gone by.
We also had the joy of a very special milestone – when one of our residents celebrated their 90th birthday. Our Chef created a stunning cake, which was shared and enjoyed by all during afternoon tea.
Another highlight of the week was our Pet Therapy session with gorgeous pup Maple. We visited residents in their rooms, giving everyone the chance to enjoy time with her. She brought so much comfort, with everyone happily stroking, cuddling and playing with her. Come back again soon Maple!
